Avoid sugar and sweetened drinks. Excess sugar has harmful effects on the body's metabolism. Sugar is made up of glucose and fructose. This fructose, in large amounts, can lead to fat deposition around the liver and abdomen. When fructose intake is high, the liver gets overloaded with it and turns it into fats.



Avoid too many carbohydrates in the diet. If you want to get rid of unhealthy fat, start eating fewer carbohydrates. Studies have shown that low carb diet leads to 3times more weight loss than a low-fat diet. When people cut the number of carbs in the diet, their appetite decreases, causing them to lose more weight.



Eat fiber-rich foods to lose fat. Water-soluble fibers bind with water and form a thick, viscous gel that settles in your gut. This gel decreases the digestive system's food movement due to which the stomach feels to be full. This decreases the appetite and helps to reduce the belly fat.

Adding hot drinks to your diet also helps to lower the belly fat. Studies show that having coffee three times a day causes weight loss in women. Drinking hot water also helps in reducing the belly fat.


                                          


Exercising regularly is the most effective thing you can do to reduce belly fat, avoid diseases, and maintaining healthy hygiene. Aerobic exercises such as swimming, running, walking and jumping decrease abdominal fat. Cardiovascular exercises and weight lifting help reduce weight across the body. Exercising also improves the metabolism of the body and helps in reducing inflammation and lowering sugar levels. Some exercises which significantly reduce belly fat are; running, bicycling, reverse crunch Elliptical trainer, vertical leg crunch, exercise ball crunch, and the Captain's chair leg raise. Exercise is vital for weight maintenance. Studies have shown that exercising prevents the body from regaining body fat.
